Scala (later Scala Multimedia) was a multimedia presentation software that started on the Amiga and achieved world fame. Developed in Norway, Scala InfoChannel offered interactive presentations with video, audio, graphics, text, and animations. Scala became the world market leader for digital signage and was used in shopping centers, airports, and corporate halls worldwide. The Amiga version was the first and inspired the entire digital signage industry.
