Zorro

Zorro is the proprietary expansion bus architecture developed by Commodore for the Amiga computer line, providing a standardized interface for connecting peripheral cards and expansion devices. It features the AutoConfig protocol, which enables automatic detection and configuration of expansion cards without manual jumper settings, similar to modern plug-and-play standards. The Zorro bus went through three major revisions (Zorro I, II, and III) to accommodate increasing performance requirements and data bus widths from 16-bit to 32-bit.
