Fred Fish

Fred Fish was an American software archivist who became legendary in the Amiga community for curating and distributing the "Fish Disks," a numbered series of floppy disks containing public domain and freeware software. Starting in 1986, he distributed thousands of utilities, games, demos, and development tools through mail order and user groups, making it one of the largest collections of free Amiga software. The Fish Disks became an essential resource for Amiga users worldwide before the widespread adoption of the internet, spanning over 1000 disks by the mid-1990s.
