Amiga 600

The Amiga 600 (A600) was a compact home computer released by Commodore in 1992 as a successor to the Amiga 500, featuring the Enhanced Chip Set (ECS) and a distinctive small form factor. It was the first Amiga to include both an internal IDE interface for hard disk drives and a PCMCIA Type II slot for expansion cards, representing significant technical advancements for the entry-level market. Despite these features, its compact keyboard case lacked a numeric keypad and offered limited expansion capabilities compared to its predecessor, leading to mixed reception and commercial challenges.
